4th place: Vötter once again narrowly missed the podium

The young woman from Völs showed two very strong rides in the German tobogganing stronghold and only had to admit defeat to the overpowering tobogganers from Germany. The hundredths of bad luck still seems to be on Vötter's feet: the South Tyrolean was only six hundredths short of her first podium place in the World Cup.

Even if it wasn't quite enough for the podium, Vötter can still be satisfied with her result: In fourth place, the 23-year-old, who has finally established herself among the absolute best in the world this winter, achieved her best result in the World Cup. Overall, today's fourth place was Vötter's fifth top-five placement of the season.

Geisenberger leads German triple success The victory at the World Cup in Oberhof - which was also counted as the European Championship - went to the overall World Cup leader Natalie Geisenberger. The 31-year-old from Bavaria clearly won ahead of her two teammates Tatjana Hüfner (+0,22 seconds) and Dajana Eitberger (+0,31).

However, things didn't go so well for Sandra Robatscher. The 23-year-old from Tiers, who celebrated her first World Cup victory in Altenberg last Sunday, had to settle for 15th place.
