Tobogganing: Double victory for Ludwig Rieder at the starting competition in Meransen

On Saturday, the amateur sports club Gitschberg organized the “Start Cup” in Meransen for the 21st time. Around 100 tobogganers from five nations took part in this year's edition. Local hero Ludwig Rieder celebrated a double victory in Meransen: He won in the single-seater and was also unbeatable in the double-seater competition together with Patrick Rastner. The German Natalie Geisenberger, who won World Cup bronze in Altenberg last season, won the women's event.
