VIDEO | Maransen celebrates Dominik Fiwickeler & Co.

On Sunday evening the time had come: Meransen rolled out the red carpet for its toboggan stars! Dominik Filehner was celebrated for bringing the overall World Cup for artificial track luge to South Tyrol this season for the first time since Armin Zöggeler's last triumph twelve years ago. But Marion Oberhofer and Andrea Vötter from Völser were also honored. They won the big crystal ball in the newly introduced women's doubles. The small but very fine celebration, which was beautifully accompanied by the music band, was attended by, among others, State Councilor Philipp Achammer, the mayor of Mühlbach and Meransen Heinrich Seppi, as well as other athletes, officials, relatives, acquaintances and many simple winter sports fans.
