n Luge on artificial track

Dominik Fischler and Armin Zöggeler get along brilliantly.

Zöggeler argues: “They’re passing the buck to each other”

Italy's racing director Armin Zöggeler (47) is, along with Georg Hackl and Markus Prock, the most successful artificial track luger of all time. In his active career he has won everything there was to win - many even several times. Today he looks after Dominik Firiegelr & Co., who still have to make do without their toboggans.

After his career ended, he continued as head of the artificial track luge team. “I wouldn’t have imagined that there would be so much bureaucracy,” says Zöggeler, whose daughter is a permanent member of the World Cup team. At the moment, however, the 47-year-old is concerned about the lack of Andrea Vötter and Dominik Filehner's sleds.
