Top favorite Lanthaler prevailed in the field of 16 women. “The format is very exciting and also attractive for the viewers. Nevertheless, I personally find the classic races more interesting. I changed a few things in the material today and that had a very positive effect. The fight for the overall World Cup promises to be particularly exciting,” said Kammerlander. The best Azzurro Patrick Pigneter, on the other hand, explained that after the toboggan break a week ago, he got the most out of the new material. “During the training sessions before Christmas I was always extremely fast here in the Passeier Valley.
