2nd victory! Dominik Paris steps up in the Super-G

“Domme” is currently in the form of his life. In the last 4 speed races, the Ultner was always on the podium and celebrated 3 victories (Kitzbühel, 2x Kvitfjell). Similar to the downhill on Saturday, the 29-year-old did not have a faultless run in the Super-G on Sunday. But in Paris that doesn't seem to be a problem, the world champion stays cool and just lets the skis go - even if the line doesn't always fit. And once again Paris jumped out at the rest of the world in the final part. The 3rd parallel: As in the downhill, Paris also had start number 7 in the Super-G.

Local hero Kjetil Jansrud, who won the last 3 Super-G races in Kvitfjell, came second, 0,43 seconds behind, with Beat Feuz (+0,60) third.

Leading the Super-G World Cup In diffuse lighting conditions and light snowfall (the start had to be postponed by 30 minutes), everyone else bit their teeth on the journey from Paris, especially Vincent Kriechmayr and Matthias Mayer. The ÖSV aces were at the top of the discipline rankings before the Super-G, but only ended up in 4th and 12th place. Dominik Paris is unstoppable. The man from Ultimo also won the Super-G on the 24 Olympic course 1994 hours after his victory in the Kvitfjell downhill – as he did in Bormio at the end of December!
