Beaver Creek: The South Tyrolean engine is not running yet

Peter Fill was the 18th best local athlete. Christof Innerhofer and Dominik Paris, who raced onto the podium in Lake Louise on Saturday, ended up in 31st and 32nd place. They were a good two seconds behind the fastest in training and surprise man Otmar Striedinger. Werner Heel, on the other hand, lost 2,57 seconds to the Austrian. The best “Azzurro” was Matteo Marsaglia, who finished 66th with starting number 13.

Striedinger, who was on the World Cup podium once in his career (2013 in the Beaver Creek Super-G), left everyone behind with start number 36 and set the fastest time. His compatriot Vincent Kriechmayr follows 0,40 seconds behind, while the Norwegian Aksel Lund Svindal landed in third place (+0,47 seconds).

Another training session is scheduled for Thursday. Things get serious on Friday when the Super G takes place at 18.45:19 p.m. The next day there is a departure at 17.45 p.m., before a giant slalom is on the program on Sunday (20.45:XNUMX p.m. and XNUMX:XNUMX p.m.).
