Lara Colturi is upset.

A bad surprise for the ski prodigy

Lara Colturi is considered one of the greatest ski talents in the scene. Recently, the 16-year-old Italian, who competes for Albania, was the victim of a crime.

No, it's definitely not Lara Colturi's year yet. Although the Italian, who competes for Albania, finished 17th twice at Kronplatz in January and achieved her best World Cup results, there was a shock shortly before the World Cup: a torn cruciate ligament and the end of the season. In the middle of her rehabilitation, Colturi now receives the next annoying news: her skis have been stolen.

On social media, Colturi wrote: “If anyone offers you used 'fast' Blizzard skis, it could be mine. They were stolen today.” But it’s not just the 16-year-old’s work tools that are affected. “Many more were stolen, from my family, but also from our ski club. We are grateful for any help.”

A rising ski star

An annoying surprise for the young Colturi, who is promised a great future. She not only showed off her talent in the World Cup this year, but also at the Junior World Championships, where she won gold in the Super-G. However, a few weeks later she tore a cruciate ligament while warming up for the first downhill training at the World Championships. The daughter of the former Italian Olympic champion Daniela Ceccarelli wants to attack again next season.
