Bormio training: Fill and Innerhofer race away from everyone

Peter Fill from Castelrotto set the best time with 1.57,06:0,08 minutes, with Christof Innerhofer from Gaiser lurking in second place, just 23 seconds behind. And Dominik Paris? The Ultner was lightning fast in the upper part, but lost some time at the bottom and finished the training in fifth place. Three South Tyrolean ski professionals in the top five – that’s something to be proud of. The Austrians Matthias Mayer and Hannes Reichelt, who had the third and fourth best times, were also strong. Werner Heel finished training in XNUMXrd place.

The last World Cup downhill took place in Bormio in 2013, and this year the “Stelvio” was added to the calendar again. Bormio is a good place for the South Tyroleans: Dominik Paris won ex aequo with Hannes Reichelt in 2012, Christof Innerhofer was unbeatable in 2008. Peter Fill came second in 2006, but then never finished in the top 10 again.
