Mikaela Shiffrin and Aleksander Aamodt Kilde are the dream couple of the ski scene. After a strenuous season, the two stars have now recharged their batteries on vacation - including special snapshots.

Where do the ski stars go on vacation? Around the globe, that much is certain. Federica Brignone went to Panama, Alexis Pinturault vacationed in the Federated States of Micronesia (an archipelago in the middle of the Pacific), Sofia Goggia visited Ibiza. And where did the dream ski couple go? Mikaela Shiffrin and Aleksander Aamodt Kilde also relaxed in Hawaii this year.

However, the two lovebirds didn't lie around on vacation and enjoyed a variety of sports, such as tennis and windsurfing. And they discovered a love nest that Mikaela Shiffrin in particular fell in love with.

Shiffrin recently posted photos showing her in a hidden cave by the sea. “I miss this cave so much and I would love to go back there,” wrote the most successful female skier of all time in the post. In addition to a short photo session, there was of course enough time for Shiffrin and Kilde to enjoy the idyllic cave together.

In general, Shiffrin and Kilde seem to be particularly impressed by Hawaii. The dream couple already enjoyed their post-season relaxing holiday there last year. Both then delivered a bomb season: While Shiffrin broke Ingemar Stenmark's victory record and won a world championship title and the overall World Cup, Kilde won the small downhill ball and was runner-up to the world championship twice.
