The big Mölgg farewell: Looking back on a unique career

One of the greatest South Tyrolean ski careers comes to an end today. Manfred Mölgg will compete in his last race at the World Cup night slalom in Flachau. In front of a big crowd, as he deserves it. Before this final appearance, he reflects on his life as a ski racer.

It was on January 12, 2003, when Manfred Mölgg was at the start of a World Cup race for the first time. Today, 328 races later, the man from Enneberg will end his career. Here “Manni” talks about his career, why he experienced the most emotional moment at one of his sister's races and why his runner-up world championship title in the slalom came about in such a strange way.
