I basically lost 2 seasons because of my various knee surgeries. But the thought of taking part in a World Cup race always gave me the motivation I needed for rehab,” Viviani told the Italian daily newspaper Il Secolo XIX . Viviani, who now belongs to the police sports group Fiamme Oro, wants to take one step at a time: “I want to consistently finish in the top 10 in the European Cup this year.
