On Wednesday, 710 days after her last World Cup race, the time had finally come and the 23-year-old was back in the starting house. The fact that she was able to promptly qualify for the second run in the Lienz slalom and collect points underlines her great talent and was the cherry on the cake. “I can only be proud that I’m back,” says an overjoyed Aline Danioth.
