What's going on with this Sara Hector this year? Almost completely disappeared from the scene in recent years, the ski lady from the Swedish town of Sandviken rose from the ashes like a phoenix this season and is dominating the giant slalom World Cup like no other. On Tuesday she celebrated her third victory of the season in front of ski queen Manuela Mölgg on the Erta slope, which is considered the most difficult giant slalom course in the women's World Cup.

What is impressive about Hector is the power with which she drives. The Slovakian was still leading at halftime at Kronplatz thanks to a dream run, but there is currently no match for Sara Hector – who was lurking in second position after round 1.
