The South Tyroleans impress in the European Cup

For the men, a giant slalom was on the program in Folgaria (province of Trento). The two South Tyroleans Hannes Zingerle and Alex Hofer ended up in 5th and 6th place. For Hofer, this was already the fourth top ten place in this European Cup season. Zingerle and Hofer made a good leap forward in the second round after being in 2th (Zingerle) and 12th (Hofer) at halftime. The Swiss top talent Semyel Bissig took the win. The other South Tyroleans, Tobias Kastlunger and Matteo Canins, were unable to qualify for the second round.
