The South Tyroleans are doing well

There were two descents at Passo San Pellegrino on Sunday and Tuesday. A Super-G that was actually planned was not held because the second downhill run had to be postponed from Monday to Tuesday due to strong winds. Led by Verena Gasslitter, South Tyrol's ski aces achieved good results in both races. In the first downhill run, the 25-year-old was ranked 7th as the best South Tyrolean, 0,68 seconds behind the winner Emily Schöpf (Austria). Teresa Runggaldier was also able to impress in eleventh place, exactly one second behind. Elisa Schranzhofer collected valuable points by finishing 23rd. On Tuesday, the Swiss Juliana Suter, who had come second two days earlier, prevailed. Gasslitter took a respectable 10th place (+ 0,78 seconds), Runggaldier narrowly missed the top ten on the VolatA in 13th place (+ 0,28).
