This women's training was not worth its name

The race only took place from the original start of the downhill to the Super-G start - in the end that was just under 40 seconds of running time that the athletes had to overcome. Afterwards, the ski aces were allowed to cross the finish line, but the time was not measured. The reason for this scaled-down training program was the warm weather, which made the lower part of the slope too soft and therefore unsuitable for racing.

Since Thursday's training had to be canceled, the organizers were forced to change the program. The Super-G (10.45 a.m.) is on the program on Saturday, followed by a shortened training session in the lower part of the route so that the descent for Sunday (11.15 a.m.) is guaranteed.

By the way: Christina Ager won the mini training on Friday, followed by Sofia Goggia (+0,09) and Tina Weirather (+0,13). The fact that the first 29 runners are all within just one second underlines the fact that this run has no significance. For the sake of completeness: Hanna Schnarf was 16th (+0,71), Nicol Delago 29th (+0,99), Verena Stuffer 35th (+1,34) and Anna Hofer 48th (+1,74).

The warm temperatures are giving the organizers of the women's World Cup in Bad Kleinkirchheim a headache: although there was downhill training on Friday, it has no meaning due to its shortness.
