Dominik Paris wins the Italian championship title in the Super-G

The man from Ultimo stopped the timekeeping at 1:38,38 minutes and was therefore a whopping 94 hundredths faster than his worst opponent, the downhill World Cup winner from Castelrotto. This is Paris' third title win in this discipline after his successes in 2009 and 2013. Bronze went to Guglielmo Bosca. Florian Schieder, who placed fourth, was another South Tyrolean who narrowly missed winning a medal.

Prast and Delago youth Italian champions

One such event was celebrated by Alexander Prast from Bolzano, who took tenth place in the ranking and was thus crowned Italian champion in the youth category. He had already won the combined classification for this age group on Monday.

In the women's category, Anna Hofer from Ahrntal made it onto the podium in third place. She only had to admit defeat to the new Italian champion Federica Brignone and Sofia Goggia.

Nicol Delago from Val Gardena won the youth category.

On Tuesday the national Super-G titles were awarded at the San Pellegrino Pass in Trentino. As expected, the race was an exciting duel between Dominik Paris and Peter Fill.
