Dominik Paris and his problem with the Saslong

It's not that Dominik Paris can't be fast on the Saslong. He was already second in the Super-G and third in the downhill. But he has also had to experience a number of disappointments here. Before the two races today and tomorrow he explained why that is the case.

“Saslong and I will probably no longer be friends,” says Paris. He competed in his first World Cup race on the Saslong (Super-G 2008) and also scored his first points in the downhill. And in 2014 he was even second in the Super-G and third in the downhill. Then what is it that bothers him about this descent?
