DSV star makes competition despair

Mikaela Shiffrin and Petra Vlhova have dominated the action on the slalom slope in Levi since 2013. Only Tina Maze was able to squeeze in between the two luminaries in 2014. Lena Dürr now wants to put an end to this monotonous story. The DSV star is clearly in the lead after the first round. With starting number one, Dürr took advantage of the untouched slopes and set an impossible task for her competitors. The 31-year-old was particularly hard to cope with in the upper section. Favorites bite their teeth Anna Swenn-Larsson was the closest to keeping up with the German, but was already 0,45 seconds behind after her attempt. Shiffrin (3rd/+0,55) and Vlhova (4th/+0,57) were given a larger deficit. The latter, by the way, is chasing her fifth win in a row in Finland. Vera Tschurtschenthaler was the only South Tyrolean in the starting field. However, the Sexten woman with start number 40 missed the jump into the decision and is still waiting for her first World Cup points (44th/+3,06). Lara della Mea (35th/+2,74) and Marta Rossetti (49th/+3,43) also didn't make it into the second round. Only Anita Gulli is reaching for the first points of the season.
