An 11-year-old challenges Marcel Hirscher

The young father from Salzburg has enjoyed life away from the slopes to the fullest in the last few months. One thing becomes immediately clear when you look at his social channels: the 31-year-old still has plenty of thrills, even in retirement. Whether it's freestyle skiing or breathtaking mountain tours - there's always something going on in Hirscher's life. One passion in particular has grown for the former ski star recently, namely motocross riding. The Austrian repeatedly posts videos of himself speeding up in various places together with his colleague and motorcycle professional Matthias Walkner.

Now Hirscher is going back to television, where a special challenge awaits. In the popular TV show “Small vs. Big”, the sports idol will compete against 11-year-old Fabio – not on skis, but on two wheels. Young Fabio challenges the eight-time overall World Cup winner to a spectacular balancing act on a trial course. The two of them have to complete an obstacle course on the motorcycle as quickly as possible - and all without stopping, pushing or helping with their feet.

A special duel. How will it turn out? This will become clear on October 17th when the program is broadcast on ORF. In any case, Hirscher shouldn't take it lightly, because he wouldn't be the first "big" celebrity to be beaten by his "small" challenger.
