A Frenchman leads in Alta Badia – Eisath in ninth place

The leader of the giant slalom classic on the Gran Risa is not Marcel Hirscher, nor Ted Ligety, but Victor Muffat-Jeandet. The Frenchman showed a flawless first run and left the entire world leader behind, albeit only just. The best “Azzurro” is Florian Eisath, who is currently in ninth place. Manfred Mölgg and Riccardo Tonetti also qualified for the second round.
