“A terrible feeling”: discussions in Kitzbühel

The Hahnenkamm downhill run was won on Saturday by an outstanding Aleksander Aamodt Kilde. After the race, a lot of the attention was focused on the Norwegian speed dominator. However, statements from an athlete also caused a stir.

This year the fans came in droves again to experience the race on the most famous descent in the world up close. On both Friday and Saturday they were treated to top-class sport. Despite the bad weather conditions, the race started from the original start. A circumstance that not everyone liked.
