In 2008, Karbon won the giant slalom crystal ball. She won two medals at the World Championships, one of them in Are in 2007. She took part in the Olympic Games four times, most recently in Sotshci (Pentaphoto)

A great career comes to an end: Denise Karbon is quitting

Next Sunday, March 16th, Denise Karbon will have her last major appearance on the international ski stage. After the giant slalom at the final in Lenzerheide, the 33-year-old from Castelrotto will end her skiing career after 15 years in the World Cup.
