A dream wedding with lots of ski celebrities

Things have been going like clockwork for Elena Curtoni so far in 2022. The 31-year-old speed specialist has had a very successful season, taking a World Cup victory, a second and a third place and was partly responsible for the fact that the Azzurre dominated the fast disciplines like no one else. Now the private highlight followed.

Curtoni celebrated her dream wedding with Nicolo Robello, a sailor from Genoa. The two had already said yes to each other a year ago and celebrated it in a small circle, now the big party followed. The celebration took place in the beautiful location of the “Castello Di Redabue” in Alessandria (Piedmont). And: There were a lot of skiing celebrities there. Schnarf, Delagos & Co. Curtoni, who finished second in this year's Super-G rankings, invited numerous teammates. The Delago sisters were there, as were Karoline Pichler, Federica Brignone, Sofia Goggia, Francesca Marsaglia and Marta Bassino. And former ski aces like Hanna Schnarf and Verena Stuffer were not missing from the final group photo. “More than a wedding, more than a celebration, more than a reunion. I wish you all the best,” wrote Francesca Marsaglia on social media.

The wedding that took place last weekend was the last event before the vacation for many skiers. Sofia Goggia is now in Cuba, Nicol Delago is heading to Andalusia and the newlywed couple is already on their honeymoon. Curtoni posted a short clip on social media that shows her on a dream beach - where exactly remains her secret. A well-deserved vacation!
