Former ski star can laugh again

“I can’t remember the last time I was pain-free – or at least didn’t have to do a million exercises to feel somewhat normal,” Mancuso writes under an Instagram picture (see below), alluding to her long period of suffering on her hip. As is well known, she had to end her skiing career in January of this year because of the ongoing problems. Now Mancuso has regained her smile. She recently had her hip replaced.

“In hindsight, I can say it was the best decision ever to have a hip replacement,” Mancuso continued. “I still have some minor mobility issues, but it feels good to be able to walk normally again.”

Mancuso is currently enjoying her vacation on the Fiji Islands and has found a new favorite activity: surfing, as numerous Instagram videos prove.
