First turns in South Tyrol: Anna Veith back on snow

Veith is one of the most successful skiers in recent years, but has recently been plagued by injuries. At the beginning of the year there was bad news for the 30-year-old when she tore her cruciate ligament in the Fassa Valley. After months in the rehabilitation center, Veith is now back on skis.

The Austrian took out her head skis for the first time on the Stelvio Pass. She wrote on Instagram: “I’m back because my passion burns stronger than my fears. I feel free and I'm very happy." In the coming weeks, Veith wants to continuously increase his ski training before two training camps are planned in Switzerland at the end of September.
