First Val Gardena training: Ganong is the fastest

The Gaiser showed a solid drive right from the start and was among the fastest in all sections. But that probably doesn't mean much, because Aksel Lund Svindal also closed the gap by more than three seconds (3,10 seconds). In the end, it's the race result that counts and both Paris and the Norwegian want to have a say in the podium places.

Werner Heel gave a strong sign of life. The Passeirer is the one last Val Gardena winners from the “Azzurri” camp and is the second best South Tyrolean in 17th place. Peter Fill was not present at the training. First Val Gardena training: Ganong is the fastest

The first of two downhill training sessions took place on the Saslong on Wednesday. Travis Ganong was fastest in the first training session in Val Gardena. Christof Innerhofer was able to convince the South Tyroleans.
