European Cup: Anna Hofer is getting faster and faster

Victory in the Super-G competition went to the Swiss Joanna Hählen. She won in 56,05 seconds ahead of the two Austrians Cornelia Hütter (+0,08 seconds) and Stephanie Venier (+0,39). The best “Azzurra” was Enrica Cipriani, who missed the podium by just four hundredths.

Anna Hofer, who finished the Super-G in tenth place, was 1,23 seconds behind at the finish. There were also points for Lisa Agerer, who finished in 25th place.

The remaining South Tyroleans Verena Stuffer, Janina Schenk, Elisabeth Egger and Janine Aukenthaler, however, had to be content with a placement outside the top 30.

In the super combination classification, the French Adeline Baud won in 1:43,16 minutes ahead of the Austrian Jessica Depauli and her compatriot Anne-Sophie Barthet. The fastest Italian was once again Enrica Cipriani (sixth place), while Hofer took 15th place.

After Anna Hofer from Ahrntal achieved her best European Cup result of the current season with twelfth place in yesterday's Super-G, she went one better today in the Super-G and beat her personal season record by two placings.
