European Cup: Marsaglia wins SuperG in Wengen, 6th Patscheider and Plank

Matteo Marsaglia won the second European Cup SuperG in Wengen. After fourth place the day before, the 25-year-old Roman prevailed on Saturday with an 11 hundredths lead over the Slovenian Gasper Markic. The Austrian Matthias Mayer came third. For Marsaglia it was the second success in the European Cup, after winning the super combined in Tarvisio in 2009.
