European Cup Obereggen: Meillard wins ahead of world champion Grange

The sensation at the prestigious European Cup slalom in Obereggen is perfect: the unknown 20-year-old Swiss Loic Meillard, already the leader after the first round with minimal time gaps, showed nerves of steel and beat the reigning world champion Jean-Baptiste Grange and his more renowned teammate Daniel Yule Ranks 2 and 3 relegated.
