European Cup: Tonetti in sixth place in the Kirchberg slalom

Theolier won in 1:59,35 minutes ahead of the Norwegian Sebastian-Foss Solevaag (+0,72 seconds) and David Ryding from Great Britain (+0,79). Riccardo Tonetti from Bolzano achieved the best Italian result with sixth place. At the finish he was 1,09 seconds behind. Alex Zingerle from Val Badia also placed in the top 20. There was nothing to gain for Fabian Bacher (31st) and Michael Eisath (37th).

Sarah Pardeller 22nd in Schruns

The women, however, were in action in Schruns, where a second slalom race was on the program today. The victory went to the Swede Therese Borssen in 1:30,55 minutes ahead of the Italian Michela Azzola (+0,24 seconds) and her teammate Paulina Grassl (0,64 seconds), who took second place yesterday.

There were also points for the South Tyrolean at the start, Sarah Pardeller, who finished the race in 22nd place in 1:33,20 seconds.

A men's European Cup slalom took place in Kirchberg on Sunday. The victory went to the Frenchman Steven Theolier, son of the Italian national coach Jacques Theolier.
