Val Gardena remains Norwegian territory

It's no secret that the Norwegians feel right at home in Val Gardena and this was once again impressively proven on Friday. Last season's overall World Cup winner, Aleksander Aamodt Kilde, was unbeatable on the Saslong and celebrated his first win of the season.

On Friday, Kilde beat the Swiss Mauro Caviezel by a paltry 12 hundredths of a second. Just 0,21 seconds behind Kilde, Kjetil Jansrud, another Norwegian and Val Gardena specialist (11 podium places in total), placed third.
