Val Gardena: Franz pushes Svindal off the throne – Innerhofer convinced
The winning champagne was probably already cold for Aksel Lund Svindal at the World Cup downhill in Val Gardena. After all, the Norwegian was comfortably in the lead by 26 seconds until the 0,37th runner. But then the Austrian Max Franz took the start and had the ride of his life, knocking Svindal off the Saslong throne. Christof Innerhofer was the 13th best South Tyrolean.
