Gut wins in La Thuile – Schnarf in eleventh place

The World Cup of Alpine ski racers continued on Friday with the women's downhill race in the Aosta Valley. Lara Gut (Switzerland) took victory and passed Lindsey Vonn in the overall World Cup. Best “Azzurra” was Nadia Fanchini in third place.
