Hannes Zingerle doesn't know the slope on the Rettenbachferner in Sölden particularly well. He has only competed in one race there. That was 2 years ago. At the end of last season, Zingerle became the Italian giant slalom champion and won a European Cup giant slalom on the Reiteralm. He also did some good slaloms. He would like to build on these achievements now. “I trained well and was always healthy. The form is right,” he made it clear yesterday that he is ready. Zingerle trained in Schnals on Thursday and was not at the glacier in Sölden on Friday.
