Hirscher ends Kristoffersen's slalom dominance - Thaler 14.

The Austrian Marcel Hirscher won the first World Cup race in 2016. The 26-year-old won the Santa Caterina slalom ahead of Henrik Kristoffersen (Norway) and Alexander Choroshilov (Russia). The best South Tyrolean was Patrick Thaler, who took 14th place.
