Hirscher wins RTL in Alta Badia – “Azzurri” badly beaten

For the first time in 16 years there was an Austrian victory on the Gran Risa. Marcel Hirscher came out ahead of Alexis Pinturault (France) and Ted Ligety (USA). Nothing came of it for the giant slalomists of the Italian team with a top result at the home World Cup. Not a single “Azzurro” was able to place in the top ten.
