After the RTL victory, Hirscher is about to win the overall World Cup - Mölgg 15.

The 23-year-old Hirscher won the giant slalom at the season finale and took the lead before the final slalom on Sunday from the Swiss Beat Feuz, who finished 21st without a point. Hirscher, who also secured the small crystal ball for winning the giant slalom classification, has a lead of 25 points over speed specialist Feuz.

Hirscher leads the ÖSV triple success ahead of his two teammates Hannes Reichelt (+0,19 seconds) and Marcel Mathis (0,55).

Massimiliano Blardone couldn't take advantage of his fifth place in the first run and didn't finish his second run. Davide Simoncelli finished seventh. Manfred Mölgg put in a strong second round, improving from 23rd to 15th place and thus making it into the points. Christof Innerhofer finished the race in 22nd place. Didier Cuche created a great spectacle, competing in his last World Cup race in a traditional outfit and on wooden skis.
