After second place in the Val Gardena downhill ten days ago, this is Cochran-Siegle's second podium finish in the Ski World Cup. “Gröden was outstanding, but this is a dream that comes true,” he beamed into the TV camera despite wearing a Corona mask. Now the downhill is on the agenda, with Cochran-Siegle setting the fastest time in both training sessions. Incidentally, Cochran-Siegle is one of the few World Cup athletes who has to do without a head sponsor on their helmet. When asked about this, the US boy said with a grin: “Let’s see if anything changes now. I guess I’ll have to talk to my manager again.”
