Innerhofer and Paris narrowly miss the podium - Svindal wins

In January 2016, Aksel Lund Svindal destroyed his knee in his fall on the Streif in Kitzbühel. After the injury break, the Norwegian came second in the downhill run in Val Gardena in December 2016 and then had to go under the knife again. After placing third in the first downhill a week ago in Lake Louise, Svindal took his first win in almost two years in Beaver Creek.
