Isolde Kostner and Manu Mölgg with the most World Cup appearances

The 48th edition of the Alpine Ski World Cup begins in Sölden in just over six weeks. The most World Cup appearances in the Italian national team are made by 32-year-old Peter Fill from Castelrotto, who has been part of the circus since 2002 and has competed in 273 races. The record holder for women, however, is Isolde Kostner from Val Gardena with 249 appearances, ahead of Manuela Mölgg from Val Badia with 217 and Nicole Gius from Val Venosta with 216.
