Peter Fill indicates his departure

After Fill had to stop last season due to injury at the beginning of January, he wanted to start again this year. However, the winter so far has been very difficult for the Castelrotto resident: a 29th place in the Super-G in Lake Louise is the best result for the three-time Crystal Globe winner. The problem: Fill is constantly in pain, as he recently explained in the Dolomiten interview. “Sometimes it’s one leg, sometimes it’s the other, sometimes it’s the back. The pain shifts,” he said. That's why it's currently difficult for him to reach the old level.

With the descent on the Lauberhorn, one of the most beautiful races in the World Cup circus is on the program this weekend - and also one of Peter Fill's specialties. In an Instagram post, Fill has now indicated that it could be over after this season. “Wengen is always a special race,” writes the father of three and adds: “I want to enjoy what will probably be my last descent on the Lauberhorn on Saturday as much as possible.” A message that shows that Fill is more intense than ever before thinking about saying goodbye. However, a definitive decision has not yet been made.
