No South Tyrolean Festival in Super-G - Svindal wins

Svindal in a class of its own

One person showed once again that he is the best speed driver of the moment: Aksel Lund Svindal. The Norwegian won by half a second over his compatriot Kjetil Jansrud. It was Svindal's third victory in Kitzbühel, always in the Super-G. Third place went to Carinthian Matthias Mayer, who relegated his teammate Hannes Reichelt to fourth place by one hundredth.

South Tyroleans are not in the absolute top ranks

The Super-G didn't go well for the South Tyroleans. The best is Peter Fill, who came seventh. Christof Innerhofer and Dominik Paris did not end up in the top 10. While Innerhofer came in eleventh, the Ultner came 16th at the same time as the Swiss Thomas Tumler.
