Kranjska Gora: Gross surprises with magic run, Mölgg on course

The native of Bolzano not only found the best conditions with start number two, but also chose the best of all lines and thus carved a time into the snow that remained untouchable for the entire competition. In second place, Michael Matt is already 1,15 seconds behind, Marcel Hirscher is in third place with a plus of 1,47.

Probably the biggest surprise besides Gross was Henrik Kristoffersen's run: the Norwegian slalom rocket made a major mistake after just a few seconds, which is why he crossed the finish line almost five seconds behind and missed qualifying for the second run.

Manni Mölgg on track Manfred Mölgg has worked out a good starting position for the second round. The Ladiner ended up in sixth place, 1,63 seconds behind Gross, and can fully attack the decision.
