Kriechmayer celebrates on the Lauberhorn – South Tyroleans are having a hard time

The Lauberhorn run, which is considered the longest in alpine ski racing, once again attracted around 70.000 fans to Wengen. The classic was once again tough, and in the end Vincent Kriechmayer from Linz was able to celebrate. The Upper Austrian triumphed ahead of the top favorite Beat Feuz (+0,14 seconds) and the Norwegian Aleksander Aamodt Kilde (+0,26).

The best “Azzurro” was Emanuele Buzzi in sixth place (+0,80). Christof Innerhofer from Gaiser finished the race in ninth place. Dominik Paris from Ultimo missed out on a top ten place after a difficult descent and had to settle for eleventh place. (+1,27 sec).
