Ligety wins in Sölden – Eisath narrowly misses the top 10
Ted Ligety has secured the first giant slalom of the World Cup winter. The American won on the Rettenbachferner just ahead of the Frenchman Thomas Fanara and the Austrian Marcel Hirscher. Florian Eisath from Eggental finished eleventh, just missing the top ten, Manfred Mölgg was 23rd.
