Livio Magoni will be working with a Czech athlete in the future.

Livio Magoni has a new job in the Ski World Cup circus

Livio Magoni's last two engagements ended with a big bang. Now the experienced ski trainer has a new job.

The years of successful collaboration with Petra Vlhova came to a crashing end after an interview. This was followed by an engagement in Austria, where Magoni was supposed to bring the slalom specialist Katharina Liensberger into the absolute world class. But the chemistry wasn't right and Magoni had to leave during the current season.

Now the Czech technician Martina Dubovska has announced that she will be trained by Magoni in the future. At 31, Dubovska is no longer a young talent, but an experienced skier. In the last World Cup winter she finished in the top 10 in the slalom three times.

Magoni celebrated his greatest successes in his coaching career with the athletes from Eastern Europe. In addition to Vlhova (Slovakia), he also trained Tina Maze (Slovenia) to become the overall World Cup winner.
