Manfred Mölgg at the World Cup opening in Sölden 2016

Manfred Mölgg: “The steep slope in Sölden is always steep”

The new Ski World Cup season is just around the corner, this weekend the starting signal will be given with the traditional giant slalom on the Rettenbach-Ferner in Sölden in the Ötztal. The women start the Olympic winter on Saturday, the men follow on Sunday. The last podium place from a South Tyrolean perspective was achieved by Manfred Mölgg from Enneberg five years ago, and in 2012 he came second behind Marcel Hirscher. Sportnews met with the 35-year-old for an interview.
