“Time to say goodbye,” the Enneberger native wrote on her official Instagram page, alluding to her resignation and adding: “It’s the right time. Since my World Cup debut 17 years ago, I have met so many great people and been to many wonderful places. But now it’s time for a new chapter in my life.”
